Check In Instructions

 Marina driving directions from:

Dayton, Cincinnati Area

  • North on I-75 to Exit 179 (State Route 6)
  • East on State Route 6, 27 miles to State Route 53
  • North on State Route 53, road will merge with State Route 20, and by-pass around Fremont, to State Route 53 north to Port Clinton
  • Go North approximately 15 miles to State Route 2 where State Route 53 will merge with S.R. 2
  • Either continue north into Port Clinton or travel East on State Route 2 & 53 to State Route 269                                                                   
  • (As noted on the map as exit for marina and exit for East Harbor State Park)
  • Head North on State Route 269 to East Harbor State Park. Marina entrance is opposite the exit road at the State Park.

 Coming from the East 

  • West on State Route 2, cross the Edison Bridge over Sandusky Bay.
  • Take first exit, State Route 269 and East Harbor State Park exit.
  • As you exit off onto SR 269 north, you’ll come to a "Y", stay right and you’ll come to a stop
  • sign at Bayshore Rd. (There will be a drive-thru and convenience store on your left).
  • Make a right turn, go under the overpass and the entrance to the pond will be on your left.

Cleveland, Oh, Pittsburgh, Pa.

  • Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) to Ohio Turnpike (I-76), eventually turns into I-80 west of Youngstown, Ohio
  • Continue west to Exit 7 (State Route 250)
  • North on State Route 250, 7 miles to State Route 2
  • West on State Route 2 for 10 miles, cross the Edison Bridge over Sandusky Bay, Take first exit  (exit for East Harbor State Park), which is State Route 269
  • Head North on State Route 269 to East Harbor State Park. Marina entrance is opposite the exit road at the State Park

 

Coming from the West  

  • East on State Route 2, before you cross the Edison Bridge over Sandusky Bay, take the exit  125, State Route 269 and East Harbor State Park exit.
  • As you exit off onto SR 269 north, you’ll come to a "Y", stay right and you’ll come to a stop
  • sign at Bayshore Rd. (There will be a drive-thru and convenience store on your left).
  • Make a right turn, go under the overpass and the entrance to the pond will be on your left.

 

Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois

  • Go to Indiana Turnpike east to Ohio Turnpike east (I-80 & I-90)

  • Continue east on Ohio Turnpike to exit 6 (State Route 53)

  • Go north on State Route 53 approximately 13 miles to State Route 2 where State Route 53 will merge with S.R. 2

  • Either continue north into Port Clinton or travel East on State Route 2 & 53 to State Route 269  (exit for marina and exit for East Harbor State Park)

  • Head North on State Route 269 to East Harbor State Park. Marina entrance is opposite the exit road at the State Park.

 

Directions to the dock from the Pond

  • Right turn out of The Pond and go back to the drive-thru/convenience store.

  • Make a left turn and proceed "straight" (stay to the right) back onto SR 269 north.

  • Head North on State Route 269 to East Harbor State Park. Marina entrance is opposite the

  • exit road at the State Park.

  • Go past the entrance to the state park 1/4 mile. You will see a swimming pool and sign for the marina. 

  • Make a left turn onto the entrance road to West Harbor Marina.

 

 

 

 

Upon arrival to The Pond:

   

  • After you arrive, go to the outdoor bulletin board next to "Unit 5" and look for your unit assignment.  Each morning  any new upgrades/changes are made for the days arrivals,    

  • Then go to your unit and make yourself at home.  Keys will be on the kitchen counter,
  • No check in or out during your stay.
